Fresh Faces Land as Super Eagles Camp Kicks Off

There is movement, there is energy and there is a clear sense of something new brewing in the Nigeria national football team camp.

New invitees Yira Sor and Philip Otele headline a group of 13 players who have already arrived in Turkey, as preparations officially begin for the upcoming international friendlies.

They are not alone. Established names like Alex Iwobi, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Paul Onuachu, Semi Ajayi and Moses Simon have also checked in, bringing a blend of experience and attacking firepower.

At the back and between the sticks, Francis Uzoho, Adebayo Adeleye, Bruno Onyemaechi and Bright Osayi-Samuel are also in camp, alongside midfield engine Frank Onyeka.

All eyes now turn to head coach Eric Chelle, who has assembled a 23-man squad with a clear objective test, tweak, and build a side capable of evolving ahead of bigger challenges.

The first training session is set to take place today, marking the real beginning of this international window. For the newcomers, it’s a chance to impress. For the regulars, it’s about reinforcing their place.

The Super Eagles will face Iran national football team on Friday in Antalya, before taking on Jordan national football team four days later.

Two matches, one message: this team is under construction and everyone is being watched.
