Bilal Nadir, the Morocco-France central midfielder currently without a club after leaving Marseille, is being linked with a move to LaLiga side Getafe. The 22-year-old left-footer, valued at around €8 million as of June 2026, is understood to be on the Spanish club’s radar as they explore options to strengthen their midfield ahead of the new season.
Nadir became a free agent at the start of July 2026 after his departure from Marseille, where he had been promoted from the B team to the first-team squad in 2023. His status on the market means any deal with Getafe would not involve a transfer fee, potentially making the Nice-born midfielder an accessible target compared with others in his valuation bracket.
The midfielder initially joined Marseille’s reserve side from Nice’s youth set-up in 2021, having progressed through the ranks at his hometown club. He then moved up to the senior squad two years later, during which time his market value rose sharply from €150,000 to multi-million-euro territory, reflecting his development at top-flight level.
Nadir, who holds both Moroccan and French nationality, operates primarily in central midfield and offers a left-footed option in the middle of the pitch, a profile that could appeal in Spain’s top division. At 1.79m tall, he fits the mould of a technically capable central player able to adapt to different systems.
For now, Nadir remains unattached following the end of his spell at Marseille, leaving him free to negotiate directly with interested clubs as speculation over a possible move to Getafe continues.
