Moroccan attacking midfielder Mahmoud El Kayssoumi has joined KACM Marrakech on a free transfer from Bahraini side Hidd SCC. The 24-year-old, who was born in Tanger and plays predominantly as a left-footed No 10, has signed a deal running until 30 June 2028 with the Botola Pro Inwi club.
El Kayssoumi returns to Moroccan football after a short spell in Bahrain, having moved to Hidd SCC in January 2026. His switch back to the domestic top flight gives KACM an additional creative option between the lines as they prepare for the new campaign.
The move continues a career that has already taken the 1.81m midfielder across several clubs in Morocco and the Gulf region. After emerging at Ajax Tanger, he earned a move to Ittihad Tanger in 2022, joining on a free transfer. Subsequent spells at Beni Mellal and Al-Shabab Club preceded his move to Hidd SCC, again on free transfers.
During his time in the Moroccan top tier, El Kayssoumi made appearances in the Botola Pro Inwi and its relegation phase, as well as in domestic cup competitions, gaining experience across league and knockout formats. That background in local conditions is likely to ease his reintegration into the Botola with KACM.
El Kayssoumi’s contract with KACM Marrakech runs until the summer of 2028 after his free transfer from Hidd SCC was finalised on 20 July 2026.
