Radomiak Radom have strengthened their squad with the signing of Angolan winger Emanuel Fernando Candimba Gonçalves, known as Manu, in a move that adds further attacking depth to the Polish club’s summer recruitment drive.
The 20-year-old has joined the club permanently from Portuguese side CF Estrela Amadora, signing a contract that runs until 30 June 2029.
The transfer marks a significant step in the young winger’s career after developing in Portugal’s football system over recent seasons.
Manu spent the last 18 months on loan at UD Santarém, a club competing in Portugal’s third tier.
During his time there, he made 34 appearances, scoring three goals and providing six assists, showing steady progress in both productivity and influence from wide attacking areas.
Radomiak Radom confirmed the signing as their fourth addition of the summer transfer window, underlining their intention to reinforce the squad ahead of the new campaign. The club view the Angolan winger as a long-term investment with room for development and impact at senior level.
Born in Angola, Manu has also already broken into international football.
He has earned five caps for the Angola national team, known as the Palancas Negras, and has scored once at senior level. His international experience, despite his young age, is seen as an important part of his profile.
The move to Poland represents a new chapter for the winger, who now steps into a different competitive environment after his development years in Portugal.
Radomiak will be hoping he can translate his pace and attacking contribution into consistent performances in their domestic league.
With a contract running until 2029, the club are signalling clear confidence in his potential, viewing him as part of a longer-term project rather than a short-term squad addition.
For Manu, the transfer offers an opportunity to establish himself in a top-flight European setting and build on his early international exposure with Angola.
Radomiak Radom’s recruitment strategy this summer continues to focus on young, emerging talent, and the arrival of Manu fits that profile as they prepare for the new season.
