Petrojet later confirmed their own return to the top flight following a strong second half of the campaign.
The Cairo-based side effectively secured promotion after a crucial draw against El Mansoura SC before strengthening their position with a convincing victory over Baladeyet El Mahalla SC.
That result lifted Petrojet to 60 points and guaranteed a second-place finish in the final standings.
The final promotion place was secured by Abu Qir Fertilizers following a dominant 3-0 victory against Raya SC in the decisive 34th round of the season.
The win took the club to 58 points and confirmed a historic promotion to Egypt’s top division.
Abu Qir Fertilizers built their successful campaign on defensive organisation and consistency, qualities that proved decisive during the closing weeks of the season.
Their composed display on the final day reflected the discipline and resilience that carried them through one of the most competitive promotion races in recent years.
