Yassin Belkhdim is the subject of interest from four European clubs, with Rayo Vallecano, Burnley and Anderlecht monitoring the Angers midfielder and Werder Bremen considering a formal offer.
The 24-year-old has become an important player for Angers in recent seasons, and his performances have attracted attention beyond France. According to Foot Mercato, the three clubs are following Belkhdim’s situation, while Werder Bremen have gone a step further by considering an approach to Angers.
However, the German club must first create space in its squad before it can make an offer. No bid has yet been made, but Werder Bremen are weighing up the possibility of trying to sign the French-Moroccan midfielder.
Angers remain open to allowing Belkhdim to leave if their valuation is met. The player is under contract with the club until 2028, and Angers are asking for 5m euros for his transfer.
Belkhdim has established himself as a regular and influential member of the Angers squad during the past two seasons. He has played 56 Ligue 1 matches across the last two campaigns, underlining his importance to the team.
His work-rate in midfield and technical ability are understood to be the qualities that have helped attract interest from several clubs across Europe.
