FC Barcelona have seen overwhelming interest in a charity auction organised through the club’s foundation, with the shirt worn by teenage star Lamine Yamal emerging as the most sought-after item by a significant margin.
The Catalan club launched the initiative following its match against Newcastle United FC, during which Barcelona players wore specially designed shirts featuring unique lettering created by artist Ana Vives.
According to reports published by Mundo Deportivo, the auction was established as part of a charitable campaign aimed at raising funds for children with disabilities, while also supporting artistic and humanitarian projects linked to the designer behind the special shirt typography.
Among all the items available, Yamal’s iconic number 10 shirt has attracted extraordinary attention from supporters and collectors across the football world.
At the latest stage of bidding, the jersey had reached €15,513, with the figure continuing to rise rapidly as interest intensified.
The scale of the bids has underlined the growing global popularity of the young Barcelona forward, who has become one of the club’s most recognisable figures despite his age.
Yamal’s shirt has comfortably outperformed every other item in the auction, highlighting the commercial and emotional appeal surrounding the teenager.
The second-highest bid was registered for the shirt of Pedri, which reached €6,768, less than half the value currently attached to Yamal’s jersey.
Third place in the auction standings belonged to Raphinha, whose shirt attracted bids totalling €3,763.
Several other Barcelona players also generated considerable interest among fans taking part in the charitable initiative.
The shirt of Fermin Lopez rose to €2,910, while Marc Bernal’s jersey reached €2,497.
Meanwhile, veteran striker Robert Lewandowski saw his shirt climb to €2,401 during the bidding process.
Further down the list, the shirt of Pau Cubarsi achieved a value of €1,347, narrowly ahead of Ferran Torres at €1,303 and Eric Garcia at €1,223.
The auction also included shirts from several other members of the Barcelona squad, all of which attracted varying levels of demand from supporters and collectors.
Espart’s jersey reached €1,000, while Joan Garcia’s shirt climbed to €950.
The shirt worn by Ronald Araujo achieved €917, just ahead of Wojciech Szczesny at €914.
Further bids included €903 for Dani Olmo, €852 for Joao Cancelo and €811 for Gerard Martin.
Barcelona confirmed that all proceeds generated from the auction would be directed towards charitable causes, particularly projects focused on supporting children with disabilities.
The initiative also aims to provide funding for artistic and humanitarian work connected to Ana Vives, whose specially designed lettering featured prominently on the shirts worn during the Newcastle match.
The remarkable demand for Yamal’s jersey reflects the continued rise of the young forward’s profile among Barcelona supporters and football fans globally.
His number 10 shirt, traditionally associated with some of the club’s greatest players, has become the centrepiece of the campaign and the clear symbol of the auction’s success so far.
