England and Nigeria midfielder Tim Iroegbunam has joined Hull City from Everton for €15.15m, completing a move that takes the 23-year-old back to the Midlands club’s Premier League ranks.
Iroegbunam, who plays in central midfield, has signed a contract with Hull City until 30 June 2031. He becomes part of a Hull side competing in the Premier League during the 2026-27 season.
The Birmingham-born player made one Premier League appearance for Everton at the start of the current campaign, playing two minutes. He did not feature in the EFL Cup before moving to Hull.
Iroegbunam joined Everton from Aston Villa in July 2024 in a deal worth €10.70m. His move to Hull represents his second transfer for a fee since leaving Villa, where he had progressed after joining from the club’s under-23 side.
Before establishing himself at senior level, Iroegbunam spent the 2022-23 season on loan at Queens Park Rangers from Aston Villa. He made his senior move to Villa’s first team after starting his development at West Bromwich Albion, progressing through the club’s youth and under-23 sides.
The midfielder is a right-footed player and stands 1.83m tall. His form has also been recognised internationally: he was part of England’s under-19 side that won the European Under-19 Championship in 2022.
Iroegbunam’s arrival gives Hull another midfield option as the club continues its Premier League campaign. His transfer fee is below the player’s listed market value of €18m, and the deal was completed on 1 September 2026.
He leaves Everton after two years at the club, having arrived from Aston Villa following a loan spell at QPR. The move to Hull is the latest step in a career that has included spells with West Bromwich Albion, Aston Villa, QPR and Everton.
Iroegbunam is now contracted to Hull City through 30 June 2031.
