Senegalese winger Ibrahima Aidara has joined Teungueth FC on a free transfer from Ligue 1 rivals Wally Daan. The 24-year-old left-sided attacker makes the switch within the Senegalese top flight after his contract came to an end, strengthening Teungueth’s options on the flank ahead of the new campaign.
Aidara, a right-footed left winger, arrives at Teungueth with recent top-flight experience under his belt. He featured 16 times in Ligue 1 last season, scoring once and providing one assist, and amassed 986 minutes of league action in that spell. His performances have helped him reach a market value of around €75,000.
Born in Thies in April 2002 and standing at 1.77m, Aidara has built his senior career entirely in Senegal. He moved to Wally Daan in 2024, again on a free transfer, after previously representing Jamono Fatick. Before that, he progressed through the age-group system at Amitie FC, stepping up from the U17s to the U20s and then into the senior side.
The move to Teungueth FC, confirmed on 22 July 2026, keeps Aidara in familiar surroundings in the Senegalese Ligue 1 and continues an upward trajectory that has taken him from youth football at Amitie FC to a key role at one of the division’s established clubs.
