Moroccan-Dutch forward Sami Bouhoudane has joined SC Cambuur from PSV U21 for €350,000, becoming the latest young attacker to move into the club’s senior set-up.
The 18-year-old has signed a contract with Cambuur until 30 June 2029 after completing his move on 5 August 2026. Bouhoudane, a centre-forward who favours his right foot, leaves PSV after progressing through the Dutch club’s youth system and reaching its under-21 side.
Bouhoudane made 23 appearances in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie, scoring seven goals and providing one assist. He played 1,188 minutes in the competition, registering a goal every 170 minutes.
His record also includes 13 goals in 19 appearances in the U17 Division 1 Fall competition and nine goals in 17 matches in the corresponding spring competition. At under-19 level, he scored seven times across 24 league appearances, while he added four goals in six UEFA Youth League matches.
The forward began his time with PSV’s youth teams in the 2022-23 season before moving through the club’s under-17, under-18 and under-19 sides. He stepped up to PSV U21 in July 2025, giving him experience of senior football in the Netherlands’ second tier before his switch to Cambuur.
Bouhoudane was born in Bergen op Zoom and stands 1.82m tall. He holds Moroccan and Dutch nationality. His move to Cambuur represents a change of club after four seasons within PSV’s youth structure, including the past campaign with the under-21 side.
Cambuur have committed to a deal running for nearly three years, with the contract expiring at the end of June 2029. The fee of €350,000 is below Bouhoudane’s recorded market value of €400,000.
The transfer was completed on 5 August, with Bouhoudane leaving PSV U21 to join SC Cambuur.
