Former Manchester United midfielder Roy Keane has expressed uncertainty over Emiliano Martinez’s move from Aston Villa to Chelsea, saying: “I’m not sure yet.”
The Argentina goalkeeper recently completed his transfer from the Birmingham club to the London side, in a deal worth 8.7m euros. Martinez has signed a three-year contract with Chelsea, keeping him at the club until the end of June 2029.
Keane’s brief assessment focuses on whether the move will ultimately work out for both the player and Chelsea. The former Manchester United captain did not offer a firm verdict on the transfer, instead making clear that he remains unconvinced at this stage.
