The video shows a dog, hedgehog, sheep and horse all looking towards the same unseen subject. For much of the clip, viewers are left waiting to discover what has caught the animals’ attention.
The music then becomes more dramatic, while the animals begin to display frightened expressions and movements. The mystery is not resolved until the final moments, when Bernardo Silva’s official portrait appears on screen.
Real Madrid accompanied the video with the caption: “They knew Bernardo Silva was coming… They knew all along that Bernardo Silva was on his way…”
The unusual presentation quickly prompted a humorous reaction from Haaland, who tagged his Manchester City team-mate beneath the post. His comment read: “Did you agree to this?”
