Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Netherlands international midfielder Quinten Timber from Marseille, with the 25-year-old agreeing a contract that runs until the end of June 2031.
The Premier League club confirmed the transfer through their official media channels, bringing Timber’s spell in France to an end. According to Transfermarkt, Crystal Palace have paid €20m for the midfielder.
Timber will now continue his career in the English top flight after leaving Ligue 1. The move also means he will play in the same league as his twin brother, Arsenal defender Jurrien Timber.
The transfer gives Crystal Palace a Netherlands international with recent experience of French football, although Timber’s most recent Ligue 1 campaign was limited to 15 appearances. He was booked five times across those matches and did not register a goal or an assist.
His departure from Marseille follows a season in which he featured in 15 league games, without making a direct contribution to a goal.
