Jordan Pickford has become England’s most experienced player at the FIFA World Cup after making his 18th appearance in the tournament during the Three Lions’ dramatic 2-1 extra-time victory over Norway.
The Everton goalkeeper reached the milestone as Thomas Tuchel’s side secured their place in the 2026 World Cup semi-finals following a tense encounter in Miami on 11 July.
Pickford has started every match for England during their campaign in North America, playing all six games as the team continues its pursuit of World Cup glory.
