French-Moroccan winger Bilal Brahimi has joined Pau FC from Danish club Viborg FF, completing a move to Ligue 2 on 31 August 2026.
The 26-year-old right winger has signed a contract running until 30 June 2029, moving to France after one season in the Danish Superliga. Brahimi is left-footed and primarily operates on the right side of attack.
Brahimi made five appearances for Viborg in the early part of the 2026-27 Superliga campaign, playing 156 minutes without scoring or registering an assist. He also received one yellow card during that period.
The transfer brings Brahimi back to French football after his spell with Viborg, who he joined from SM Caen on 1 September 2025. He previously spent two seasons with Caen, having moved there from USL Dunkerque in July 2022 in a €700,000 transfer.
Before establishing himself in senior football, Brahimi came through the youth systems at Troyes and Montfermeil. He joined Troyes’ under-17 side in 2015 before progressing to the club’s under-19 team, then moving into senior development with Troyes B and Le Havre B.
His route to Pau marks a return to the country of his birth, Villepinte, and adds an experienced wide player to a squad competing in France’s second tier. Brahimi’s deal keeps him at Pau through the end of June 2029.
The move was completed on 31 August, with Brahimi leaving Viborg after making five league appearances at the start of the season.
