Nice linked with Algeria defender Abdelhak Ben Idder

Algerian centre-back Abdelhak Ben Idder, who plays for Paradou AC, has been linked with a move to Nice.

The 19-year-old defender is being associated with a switch to the French club, who compete in Ligue 1. The rumour does not include a reported transfer fee or indicate that an agreement has been reached.

Ben Idder established himself in Paradou’s senior squad after joining from the club’s under-20 side in September 2025. He made 22 Ligue 1 appearances and played three times in the Coupe d’Algerie, recording 1,799 minutes in the league and 300 in the cup.

His listed market value is €450,000, although that figure does not represent a confirmed asking price or proposed fee for any move to Nice.

Ben Idder’s profile is that of a young central defender who has already gained regular senior experience in Algeria’s top flight. His potential move would represent a step from Paradou AC into one of France’s leading domestic competitions, but the available details do not establish the stage of any discussions between the clubs.

For now, Ben Idder remains a Paradou AC player, with the Nice link still reported as a rumour rather than a completed transfer.
