Naby Keita has been included in Paulo Duarte’s preliminary Guinea squad list, raising the prospect of a return to international football for the national team captain.
The emerging list of players under consideration by Guinea manager Duarte has already prompted strong reactions, with Keita’s name attracting particular attention. The midfielder has been away from both competitive football and the national team for some time, but could now be brought back into the squad for the next international gathering.
His possible return would give the Syli National an experienced figure at the heart of the group.
