Ghanaian forward Mohammed Fuseini is being linked with a move from Union SG to Derby in the Championship.
Fuseini, 24, has started the 2026-27 campaign with two appearances in Champions League qualifying, scoring once, while also registering an assist in two Jupiler Pro League outings. He also provided an assist in Union SG’s Belgian Super Cup victory.
The centre-forward joined Union SG from Austrian club Sturm Graz in July 2024 in a €2m transfer and helped the Belgian side win the league title in his first season. Union SG also secured the Belgian Cup in 2026.
Fuseini’s contract with the Belgian club runs until 30 June 2028, meaning any move to Derby would involve a transfer rather than a free-agent deal. He is currently valued at €2.5m.
The Ghanaian began his senior European career with Sturm Graz II after moving from Ghanaian academy Right to Dream in 2022. He spent part of the 2023-24 season on loan at Danish club Randers before returning to Austria and subsequently joining Union SG.
He has made a limited number of starts for Union SG early this season, featuring in 33% of the club’s possible league starting line-ups and 50% of their Champions League qualifying starts.
