Guinean-French midfielder Mohamed Kaba, 24, is rumoured to be the subject of interest from Goztepe after returning to Lecce from a loan spell at Nantes.
Kaba is currently contracted to Lecce until 30 June 2027, with the potential move linking the Serie A club with a switch to Turkey’s Super Lig. No transfer fee or agreement has been reported, and the move remains a rumour.
The central midfielder has made one appearance for Lecce during the 2026-27 season, featuring in the Italian Cup. He has not played in Serie A so far this campaign.
Kaba rejoined Lecce at the end of June after spending the second half of the 2025-26 season on loan at Nantes. The French club paid a €500,000 loan fee for the move in January, before the player returned to Italy when the arrangement ended.
Lecce signed Kaba from Valenciennes in August 2023 for €3m. He had developed through Valenciennes’ youth and reserve sides before establishing himself in senior football.
The reported interest comes with Kaba’s future at Lecce still tied to a contract that has a further season remaining beyond the current campaign. His market value is listed at €2.5m, while his highest recorded value has been €3.5m.
