Mbaye Seck: Senegal midfielder joins AC Leon on free transfer from Brusaporto

Senegalese midfielder Mbaye Seck has joined AC Leon on a free transfer from Serie D side Brusaporto.

The 27-year-old central midfielder has signed a deal with the Italian club until 30 June 2027, moving within Serie D Group B as AC Leon strengthen their options in the middle of the pitch. Seck arrives with an estimated market value of €125,000.

Seck leaves Brusaporto after his second spell with the club, having rejoined them in 2023 from Villa Valle, also on a free transfer. His move to AC Leon continues a career spent largely in Italy’s lower divisions, where he has built a reputation as a regular performer in central midfield.

Born in Dakar and left-footed, Seck has amassed extensive experience in Serie D, making over 260 appearances in the division and its play-offs. He has also featured in Serie C with Giana Erminio and Atalanta, adding further depth to his curriculum in Italian football. In cup competitions at this level, including the Coppa Serie D and Coppa Serie C, he has also been a consistent presence.

Seck first emerged in Italy through Atalanta’s youth system before loan spells at Virtus Bergamo and Giana Erminio, eventually settling into a career across Serie C and D.

The move sees Seck commit to AC Leon for the 2026-27 season and beyond as he completes a free transfer from Brusaporto.
