Angolan-French forward M’Bala Nzola is being linked with a move from Fiorentina to fellow Serie A club Cagliari.
Nzola, 30, returned to Fiorentina at the end of June after spending the second half of last season on loan at Sassuolo. He has not featured in Fiorentina’s opening two Serie A matches or their Italy Cup fixture this season.
The centre-forward joined Fiorentina from Spezia in August 2023 in a deal worth €12.6m. He subsequently spent the 2024-25 campaign on loan at Lens before moving to Pisa and then Sassuolo during the following season.
A move to Cagliari would keep Nzola in Serie A, where he has been contracted to Fiorentina since his arrival from Spezia. His current market value is listed at €4m.
Nzola’s Fiorentina contract runs until 30 June 2027, meaning any transfer would take place with one year remaining on his existing deal.
