CD Ebro have signed Burkina Faso and Ivory Coast winger Mariano Ake from Arandina on a free transfer. The 24-year-old right-sided attacker has agreed a deal running until 30 June 2027 with the Segunda Federacion Group II club.
Ake, born in Abidjan and primarily operating as a right winger, switches to Ebro after one season with Arandina, whom he had also joined without a fee from CD Estepona. His move strengthens Ebro’s attacking options on the flanks as they prepare for the new campaign at Spain’s fourth tier.
The right-footed wide player brings significant experience at this level, having made 35 appearances and scored five goals in Segunda Federacion Group II, adding a further 12 outings in Group IV and four in the promotion play-offs. Across those matches, he has accumulated more than 2,400 minutes of league and play-off football.
Before his stint at Arandina, Ake rebuilt his career in Spain with Estepona after a short spell without a club in 2024. He previously spent two years with Alaves B following a move from San Ignacio, having first arrived in Spain in 2019 to join Alaves’ under-19 side from Ac. Tenakourou.
CD Ebro’s agreement keeps Ake under contract for the 2026-27 season, confirming his permanent switch from Arandina on a free transfer.
