Italian-Senegalese centre-forward Mamadou Gaye has joined Sondrio from Monza U20, completing a move to the Italian club on 1 September 2026.
Gaye, 20, has signed a contract with Sondrio that runs until 30 June 2027. The forward was registered with Monza’s Under-20 side before switching clubs at the start of the 2026-27 season.
Born in Casale Monferrato on 18 January 2006, Gaye holds Italian and Senegalese nationality. He plays as a centre-forward and is right-footed.
The move takes Gaye into Sondrio’s senior set-up after two seasons with Monza U20. He joined Monza from Robbio on 5 July 2024, having previously played for the Italian club before stepping up to the youth side.
Gaye’s change of club comes after his time in the Primavera 1 system with Monza. His 2026-27 record shows no appearances before the move, with the forward now beginning a new chapter at Sondrio.
Sondrio have completed the signing of Gaye, with the striker’s contract in place until the end of June 2027.
