Liverpool are preparing a new offer of between €75m and €80m for Crystal Palace winger Ismaila Sarr, according to Dsports journalist Hadim Diakate.
Crystal Palace previously turned down a €60m proposal from Liverpool for the 28-year-old Senegal international. The Premier League club are now expected to return with an improved bid as they consider Sarr a possible replacement for Cody Gakpo.
Gakpo has already reached an agreement with Manchester City, according to the report, increasing the importance of Liverpool’s interest in Sarr. However, the proposed move remains a reported development rather than a completed transfer, and there has been no indication that Crystal Palace have accepted the higher offer.
Sarr has not played for Crystal Palace in the current season. His absence from the team comes after a productive campaign in which he scored 21 goals and provided two assists in 45 appearances.
