French-Cameroonian winger Jean-Matteo Bahoya is the subject of a reported move from Frankfurt to Leeds, with the Premier League club linked with a deal for the 21-year-old.
Bahoya plays as a left winger and has a market value of €25m. The proposed switch from the Bundesliga to the Premier League is currently rated at 84%, although the transfer remains a rumour and has not been confirmed.
The player has yet to make an appearance for Frankfurt in the 2026-27 Bundesliga or DFB-Pokal campaigns, having not featured in either of the club’s recorded matches so far this season.
Bahoya joined Frankfurt from Angers SCO in January 2024 for a reported €8m. He had progressed into Angers’ senior set-up after coming through the French club’s youth system, before moving to Germany.
The winger’s current contract with Frankfurt runs until 30 June 2029, meaning any move to Leeds would involve a transfer fee rather than a free transfer. That long-term agreement, alongside Bahoya’s €25m valuation, would give Frankfurt a strong negotiating position if the reported interest develops into formal discussions.
Bahoya remains a Frankfurt player while the rumour continues to circulate.
