Lassine Sinayoko: Mali forward joins Paris FC from Auxerre in €8m deal

Mali-born forward Lassine Sinayoko has joined Paris FC from AJ Auxerre in an €8m transfer, signing a contract with the Ligue 1 side until 30 June 2029.

The 26-year-old centre-forward arrives in the capital after emerging as a key attacking option for Auxerre, where he progressed from the youth ranks to the first team. Paris FC have moved for the right-footed striker on the back of his consistent performances in French football’s top two tiers.

Sinayoko, who was born in Bamako and also holds French nationality, leaves Auxerre having played across Ligue 1 and Ligue 2, as well as in the French cup competitions and promotion play-offs. Standing at 1.86m, he offers a physical presence through the middle and has accumulated almost 10,000 senior minutes across league and cup action in France.

A French second-tier champion with Auxerre in the 2023-24 season, Sinayoko made his way through the club’s structure from the under-19s to the B team before stepping up to the first-team squad in 2019. His record includes goals and assists in both Ligue 1 and Ligue 2, as well as a strong scoring return in the lower national divisions earlier in his career.

Sinayoko becomes a permanent signing for Paris FC ahead of the new campaign, joining the Ligue 1 club on a long-term deal running through to 2029.
