Juventus defender Federico Gatti has attracted interest from two European clubs, with Galatasaray and Porto both seeking to sign the 28-year-old on loan.
The information was reported on social media by transfer insider Nicolo Schira, who said the Turkish club and the Portuguese side are interested in taking Gatti temporarily.
However, Juventus have no plans to let the Italy defender leave, according to the report. The Turin club’s position means that any potential approach from Galatasaray or Porto would face resistance, despite both teams being keen to secure his services.
Gatti joined Juventus in 2022 and has since become an established member of the club’s squad. During his time in Turin, he has made 137 appearances for Juventus, scoring 11 goals and providing two assists.
His record includes a notable attacking contribution for a defender, with 11 goals recorded across his Juventus career. Those figures have come during a period in which he has continued to feature for the club following his arrival in 2022.
Galatasaray and Porto are understood to be focusing on a loan arrangement rather than a permanent transfer. Juventus, though, are not currently planning to release the player, leaving the two interested clubs facing a difficult task if they are to take the defender away from Turin.
The report does not state whether either club has made a formal offer. It does confirm that both Galatasaray and Porto have identified Gatti as a potential addition and that Juventus do not intend to sanction his departure.
Gatti’s current situation therefore remains centred on Juventus, where he has accumulated 137 matches since joining the club. His tally of 11 goals and two assists has been recorded during that spell, while interest from abroad has now emerged in the form of Galatasaray and Porto.
For Juventus, the immediate message is clear: despite the attention from two European clubs, the Turin side are not looking to send the defender out on loan.
