FC Ingolstadt have added Israel-DR Congo winger Joseph Ganda to their squad after the 29-year-old completed a free transfer from Hannover 96 II. The right-sided attacker moves into the 3. Liga setup as Ingolstadt look to strengthen their options out wide ahead of the new campaign.
Ganda, who was born in Tel Aviv and stands at 1.86m, arrives after a season in the German fourth tier with Hannover’s reserve side, having previously spent time with Teutonia 05 and Phonix Lubeck. Comfortable on either foot and primarily used on the right wing, he offers versatility across the attacking line.
The move continues a career that has taken Ganda through top-flight football in both Israel and Austria as well as professional spells in Germany’s upper divisions. He has played in the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga, as well as the Austrian Bundesliga and Israeli Ligat ha’Al, gaining experience across several European leagues and domestic cup competitions.
Across his club career he has registered more than 150 senior appearances in league and cup competitions, including productive spells in the Regionalliga, where he has reached double figures for goals. Earlier in his career he also featured in Israel’s second tier, contributing goals and assists in a promotion-winning campaign.
Ganda, whose most recent market valuation stood at €75,000, joins Ingolstadt immediately following the expiry of his contract with Hannover 96 II and will be available for the start of their 3. Liga campaign.
