Jordan Lotomba linked with Celtic move from Feyenoord

Switzerland and DR Congo defender Jordan Lotomba has been linked with a move from Feyenoord to Celtic.

The 27-year-old right-back joined Feyenoord from French club Nice in September 2024 for a reported €2.2m and remains under contract with the Dutch club until 30 June 2027.

Lotomba has made two Eredivisie appearances so far this season, both as a substitute, and has provided one assist. His limited involvement comes as Celtic are reported to be considering a move for the former Young Boys player before the transfer window closes.

Lotomba began his senior career with Lausanne-Sport before moving to Young Boys, where he won three Swiss league titles and the Swiss Cup. He spent four seasons with Young Boys before joining Nice in 2020, making the move to Feyenoord four years later.

The defender has a current market valuation of €3.5m, although there is no indication of a fee being discussed between Celtic and Feyenoord. The reported interest comes with Lotomba having less than a year remaining on his current deal beyond the end of the 2026-27 season.

Any move would take Lotomba from the Eredivisie to the Scottish Premiership, but the rumour remains unconfirmed and there has been no suggestion that an agreement has been reached.
