Nigeria winger Johnson Dauda has joined Slovan Liberec from Novi Pazar in a move worth €800,000, taking the 19-year-old from Serbia’s top flight to the Czech Republic’s Chance Liga.
Dauda’s move was completed on 1 September, after he had begun the 2026-27 season with Novi Pazar. The left winger made seven appearances in the Super liga Srbije before switching clubs, starting in 86% of those matches and playing 442 minutes.
He recorded one assist during that run, contributing to a goal in 20% of Novi Pazar’s league games. Dauda also received two yellow cards and did not score during his seven appearances.
The teenager was born in Makurdi, Nigeria, on 4 May 2007. He is listed at 1.85m and favours his left foot, with his primary role coming on the left side of the attack.
Dauda had only recently stepped up to Novi Pazar’s senior side. He joined the club’s under-19 team in September 2025 before moving into the first-team squad on 1 July 2026.
His departure comes after a short opening spell in the Novi Pazar senior team, where his involvement increased quickly at the start of the new Serbian league campaign. He featured in each of the club’s first seven possible league matches before the move to Liberec.
Slovan Liberec compete in the Chance Liga, the Czech Republic’s top division. The move gives Dauda a change of league and country while maintaining his role as a left-sided attacking player.
The transfer also marks a significant step in the young winger’s career after his progression from Novi Pazar’s youth set-up to regular first-team involvement. His appearances during the opening weeks of the Serbian season provided his latest competitive experience before the move.
Dauda’s senior record at Novi Pazar stands at seven league appearances, one assist and 442 minutes. He now continues his career with Slovan Liberec after the Czech club paid €800,000 to sign him from the Serbian side.
