Hudson-Odoi joins Eastbourne Borough Women ahead of new season
English-born Ghanaian forward Krystal Hudson-Odoi has joined Eastbourne Borough Women FC ahead of the 2026/27 campaign after impressing the club during a trial period.
The winger becomes Eastbourne Borough’s first signing of the summer transfer window as the club strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.
Hudson-Odoi, the younger sister of Nottingham Forest player Callum Hudson-Odoi, earned a contract after making a positive impression during her time with the team.
The forward demonstrated her attacking ability in a preparatory fixture against the QPR reserve side, scoring during the match and helping convince Eastbourne Borough’s technical staff that she could make an impact.
Her arrival gives the club another option in wide attacking areas as they prepare for the 2026/27 season.
Eastbourne Borough coach Michael Walbach welcomed the signing and said Hudson-Odoi had attracted significant interest before choosing to join the club.

“Krystal gives us another genuine attacking threat in wide areas and is a brilliant addition who complements the qualities we already have in the squad.”
The coach also expressed his anticipation at seeing how the new signing develops during the campaign and the contribution she can make to the team.

Hudson-Odoi arrives at Eastbourne Borough with previous experience at AFC Wimbledon and Charlton Athletic.
