Hamza Ghalleb: Tunisia midfielder joins AS Soliman on free transfer from CS Hammam-Lif

Tunisia defensive midfielder Hamza Ghalleb has joined AS Soliman on a free transfer from CS Hammam-Lif. The 29-year-old moves within the Tunisian game after his contract with Hammam-Lif came to an end, strengthening Soliman’s options at the base of midfield.

Ghalleb, who operates primarily as a holding midfielder, made his name in Ligue 1 with a series of disciplined displays in the centre of the pitch. Last season he featured in both the league and Tunisian Cup, accumulating over 600 minutes across all competitions, including appearances in relegation play-off action.

He had been with CS Hammam-Lif since January 2025, also joining them on a free, and previously represented CS Chebba after arriving there from EO Sidi Bouzid in 2022. Earlier in his career he spent time with CS Sfaxien, including a loan spell at SS Sfaxien, gaining experience across several Tunisian clubs.

Ghalleb’s arrival gives AS Soliman an experienced domestic campaigner who has already played top-flight and cup football in Tunisia and has been involved in squads competing in continental tournaments. His past involvement in Ligue 1 and knockout competitions underlines the level of exposure he brings into the Soliman dressing room.

Born on 23 April 1997, Ghalleb signs for Soliman at an age where he offers both know-how and the potential to establish himself quickly in their midfield structure. The move is confirmed as a free transfer, with the player now registered as an AS Soliman footballer.
