Comoros-French right-back Glenn Younousse has joined Aviron Bayonnais from FC Balagne on a free transfer. The 22-year-old defender makes the switch within French football, stepping up from National 2 to the National 1 Group B side.
Younousse, who was born in Bordeaux and stands at 1.80m, arrives at Aviron Bayonnais having spent the second half of last season with FC Balagne. He had previously been without a club after leaving the reserves of Girondins de Bordeaux, before signing for the Corsican outfit in February 2026.
Primarily a right-back and preferring to play on his right foot, Younousse brings substantial experience at academy and lower-league level. Across his time in National 2 with various sides, he has accumulated more than 60 appearances, while also featuring in the Coupe de France and youth competitions such as the National U19 and Coupe Gambardella.

Younousse progressed through Bordeaux’s youth system, moving from the club’s U19s into their B team in 2022, before his contract there came to an end in 2025.
