Gambia international Abdoulie Manneh is close to completing a move from Swedish club Mjällby AIF to Belgian side Cercle Bruges in a deal reportedly worth €2.3m plus bonuses.

Manneh’s impending departure has already been reflected in Mjällby’s squad selection.
The Gambian was left out of the Swedish side’s squad for their Champions League qualifying fixture against Slovan Bratislava, despite still being under contract with the club.
His omission is another indication that the transfer is nearing completion.
Mjällby sporting director Hasse Larsson also suggested that the player’s future could be resolved shortly.
“It will probably become clear tomorrow or the day after ,” he explained.
