Fenerbahce linked with Frankfurt winger Jean-Matteo Bahoya

French-Cameroonian winger Jean-Matteo Bahoya is the subject of a reported move from Frankfurt to Fenerbahce, with the Turkish Super Lig club linked with a transfer for the 21-year-old.

Bahoya’s potential switch from the Bundesliga to Turkey is currently rated at 11%, while his market value is listed at €25m. The winger has not made an appearance for Frankfurt this season, with the club having played one DFB-Pokal fixture so far.

Bahoya joined Frankfurt from Angers SCO in January 2024 in a deal worth €8m. He made the move after progressing through Angers’ youth system and reserve side, arriving in Germany with a contract that runs until 30 June 2029.

The right-footed attacker plays primarily on the left wing and was born in Montfermeil, France, on 7 May 2005. He holds French and Cameroonian nationality.

Any agreement with Fenerbahce would therefore involve Frankfurt negotiating for a player who remains under a long-term contract. For now, the proposed move remains at the rumour stage, with no confirmation that the clubs have reached an agreement.
