Egypt right-back Fathi Mohamed has joined Cleopatra FC from Pharco FC, completing a move to the Egyptian Premier League club at the age of 21.
Mohamed, who was born on 1 January 2005, moves after one season with Pharco’s senior side. He stepped up from Pharco FC U21 to the first team in July 2025, having previously been part of the club’s development system.
The right-footed defender made 16 recorded senior appearances across the Relegation Playoff, Egyptian League Cup, Premier League and Egypt Cup. He scored once, with that goal coming in the Egyptian League Cup.
His appearances included 11 matches in the Relegation Playoff, where he played 730 minutes. He also featured twice in the Egyptian League Cup, twice in the Premier League and once in the Egypt Cup.
Mohamed’s move to Cleopatra keeps him in Egyptian football and places him at a club competing in the country’s top flight. His experience already includes Premier League involvement, alongside appearances in domestic cup and playoff competition.
The defender’s listed market value is €50,000, while the transfer fee has not been disclosed. No contract expiry date has been announced for his time at Cleopatra FC.
Mohamed joins Cleopatra after making the transition from youth football to senior football with Pharco last season. His move represents the latest step in a senior career that began with Pharco’s first team following his time with the club’s under-21 side.
The transfer was completed on 13 August 2026.
