Fares Bousnina linked with Pau FC move from Bologna U20

Fares Bousnina, a Tunisia-France centre-forward at Bologna U20, has been linked with a move to French Ligue 2 club Pau FC.

The 20-year-old joined Bologna from Nice U19 on 21 August 2025 and remains under contract with the Italian club until 30 June 2027. A move to Pau would represent a return to France, where Bousnina developed through Nice’s youth system.

Bousnina has yet to make an appearance for Bologna’s Primavera 1 side this season, with the campaign currently showing two possible matches. He has not recorded a goal or assist and has not started a game.

Bologna paid €300,000 to sign the forward last summer, when his listed market value was €150,000. His current market value is €100,000.

Born in La Seyne-sur-Mer on 13 February 2006, Bousnina stands 1.83m tall and plays as a centre-forward. His move to Bologna followed two seasons in the Nice academy, first with OGC Nice Under-17s before progressing to the club’s Under-19 team.

Pau, who compete in Ligue 2, are the club currently associated with a possible transfer. No agreement has been confirmed, and Bousnina’s contractual commitment to Bologna continues through the end of June 2027.
