Jamie Leweling, the German-Ghanaian winger currently at Stuttgart, has been linked with a move to Everton in the Premier League.
The 25-year-old joined Stuttgart permanently from Union Berlin in July 2024 after spending the previous season on loan at the Bundesliga club. Stuttgart paid €6m for the transfer, and Leweling is under contract until 30 June 2029.
Leweling has made one Bundesliga appearance for Stuttgart this season, playing 31% of the available minutes without scoring or providing an assist. He has also appeared once for Germany at the 2026 World Cup, featuring for 8% of the available minutes.
The right winger’s current market value is listed at €40m, a substantial rise from the €9m valuation recorded when Stuttgart completed his permanent transfer. He was part of the Stuttgart side that won the German Cup in the 2024-25 season.
Leweling developed in Germany with Nuremberg and Greuther Furth before moving to Union Berlin in 2022. His previous spell at Stuttgart, in 2023-24, came on loan before the club brought him back on a permanent basis.
Any move to Everton would therefore involve negotiations with Stuttgart over a player whose long-term contract remains in place and whose valuation has increased since his arrival.
