Bertrand Fourrier: France-Cameroon forward seals €250k move to Ural from Septemvri Sofia

France-Cameroon striker Bertrand Fourrier has joined Russian side Ural from Bulgarian club Septemvri Sofia in a €250,000 permanent transfer. The 28-year-old centre-forward has signed a contract in Yekaterinburg running until 30 June 2028.

Fourrier, born in Douala and standing at 1.88m, arrives in Russia with a market valuation of €800,000 and will operate through the middle of Ural’s attack. The right-footed forward becomes one of the club’s notable acquisitions ahead of the new 1.Division campaign as they look to strengthen their options in the final third.

The move brings an end to his spell in Bulgaria’s top flight, where he was on the books of Septemvri Sofia in the efbet Liga. Although he had yet to feature in the current 2026-27 league season, Fourrier had established himself as a senior attacking option in the Bulgarian side before securing his switch east.

Fourrier’s dual French and Cameroonian background adds an international flavour to Ural’s squad, with the forward now set to experience a new championship after his time in Bulgaria. His physical profile and central role give Ural an additional focal point as they reshape their attack.

The deal, completed on 27 July 2026, confirms Fourrier as a Ural player through to the summer of 2028 following his permanent transfer from Septemvri Sofia for €250,000.
