Barcelona have agreed a deal worth €8.5m to sign 18-year-old Club Bruges winger Jessy Beseo, as the Spanish giants accelerate a youth-focused overhaul of their squad.
The Catalan club has reached a full agreement with the Belgian side and are now finalising paperwork ahead of the youngster’s medical, according to Italian transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano.

Romano announced on X that Barcelona and Club Bruges have closed an agreement for Beseo, with only the formalities remaining before the transfer is completed.
The deal is understood to be worth €8.5m, with Club Bruges also retaining a 20% sell-on clause on any future transfer involving the player. That mechanism would allow the Belgian club to benefit from any significant rise in Beseo’s market value should Barcelona sell him later in his career.
Document exchanges are already under way between the clubs as part of the final procedural steps. Beseo is expected to travel to Barcelona in the coming period to undergo a medical examination before the La Liga side make an official announcement.
Medical and official unveiling pending
Once Beseo arrives in Spain, he will undergo routine tests at Barcelona’s medical facilities. If all goes as planned, the club will then move swiftly to complete registration and unveil him as their latest summer signing.
