Badredine Bouanani, the 21-year-old Algerian-French winger at Stuttgart, has been linked with a move to Bundesliga rivals Werder Bremen.
Bouanani joined Stuttgart from Nice on 31 August 2025 in a deal worth €15m and remains under contract until 30 June 2030. His current market value is listed at €10m, meaning any potential transfer would involve a player secured by Stuttgart on a long-term agreement.
The left-footed right winger has yet to make an appearance for Stuttgart in the 2026-27 Bundesliga or DFB-Pokal, with both competitions having recorded one match so far this season. He has been registered as Stuttgart’s number 27.
A switch to Werder would keep Bouanani in the Bundesliga, but the rumour remains unconfirmed and has been given a 39% probability. There is no indication that Stuttgart have agreed to the transfer or that personal terms have been reached with the player.
Bouanani began his senior career at Lille before moving to Nice in 2022 and spent part of the 2023-24 season on loan at Lorient. He returned to Nice before completing his permanent move to Stuttgart, where his contract gives the club control of his future for the next four seasons.
