Morocco left-back Badr Gaddarine has left Ittihad Tanger and is now without a club after completing his move away from the Botola Pro Inwi side.
The 28-year-old’s departure was registered on 31 August 2026, ending his spell with Ittihad Tanger, whom he joined in January 2025. Gaddarine made the move to the club after a period without a team following his departure from Wydad AC in August 2024.
Gaddarine is an experienced defender in Moroccan football, having made 139 appearances in the Botola Pro Inwi. He has scored six goals and provided nine assists in the competition, while also featuring 38 times in the CAF Champions League.
The Casablanca-born player spent the majority of his senior career with Wydad AC, progressing from the club’s under-19 side before establishing himself in the first team. He originally moved into Wydad’s senior squad in 2017.
During his time with Wydad, Gaddarine won four Moroccan league titles, lifting the trophy in the 2016-17, 2018-19, 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons. He also won the CAF Champions League twice, in 2016-17 and 2021-22, as well as the CAF Super Cup in 2017-18.
The left-footed full-back briefly joined Mouloudia in August 2022 before returning to Wydad in January 2024. His move back to Wydad was completed without a transfer fee, and he subsequently became a free agent later that year before joining Ittihad Tanger.
Gaddarine’s record also includes appearances in the Moroccan Throne Cup, the Excellence Cup and the Club World Cup. He has scored eight goals across those recorded competitions, with his continental experience coming mainly through Wydad’s Champions League campaigns.
He stands 1.78m tall and plays primarily at left-back. With his departure from Ittihad Tanger now completed, Gaddarine is without a club as of 31 August 2026.
