Angola forward Depu linked with Petro Luanda return from Young Africans

Angola forward Depu is the subject of a transfer rumour linking him with a return from Young Africans to Petro Luanda.

The 26-year-old centre-forward joined Young Africans from Polish club Radomiak on 14 January 2026 in a deal worth €250,000. A move back to Petro Luanda would mark a return to the Angolan club, where he played before joining Portuguese side Gil Vicente in January 2023.

Depu has also featured in European and African competitions during his career. He made nine CAF Champions League appearances and scored twice, while recording three goals and one assist in 24 Liga Portugal appearances.

The forward began his senior career with Aca. Lobito before spells with Caala and Sagrada in Angola. He moved to Petro Luanda in the 2022-23 season and subsequently joined Gil Vicente, spending part of the 2024-25 campaign on loan at Serbian club Vojvodina.

Depu’s current market value is listed at €200,000. He is contracted to Young Africans, although no expiry date has been reported, and the reported interest from Petro Luanda has not been confirmed as a completed transfer.
