Achraf Hakimi will remain at Paris Saint-Germain, according to his agent, who has dismissed reports linking the Moroccan defender with a return to Real Madrid.
The statement comes amid ongoing speculation that the Spanish club could seek to bring the right-back back as a potential successor to Dani Carvajal.
The 27-year-old, who is under contract with the French champions until 2029, is said to be fully focused on his current club and has no intention of leaving.
His agent stressed that Hakimi is content in Paris and remains committed to the team’s long-term ambitions.
“He is very happy at the club and wants to win the Champions League for the second time. He also wants to take the team as far as possible. Furthermore, Real Madrid never showed the slightest interest,” the player’s agent stated.
The comments appear to directly counter recent reports suggesting that Hakimi could be considering a move back to Spain, where he previously came through the ranks at Real Madrid.
Despite those claims, the agent insisted that no contact has been made between the player and his former club.
When asked explicitly whether there had been any recent approach from Madrid, the agent responded: “No, it has never happened.”
Hakimi, who represents Morocco internationally, has developed into one of the leading right-backs in world football since leaving Madrid.
His performances for Paris Saint-Germain have cemented his reputation as a key player, contributing both defensively and offensively.
The defender is reportedly focused on continuing his development in Paris, with a particular emphasis on European success.
Winning the UEFA Champions League remains a major ambition, and Hakimi is said to be determined to help PSG go as far as possible in the competition.
After initially breaking through at Madrid, Hakimi moved on to establish himself elsewhere, eventually rising to prominence as one of the best in his position globally. His consistent performances have led to recurring discussions about a possible return to the Santiago Bernabéu.
However, while recent updates suggested that Hakimi might be open to such a move, they also indicated that any potential transfer would be highly complex.
The agent’s latest remarks now appear to close the door on that possibility, at least for the foreseeable future.
For now, Hakimi’s immediate future remains firmly in Paris, where he continues to play a central role in the club’s ambitions both domestically and in Europe.
