Senegalese defender Adama Wade has left Jaraaf of Dakar to join Libyan first-division side Al Taawon SC, bringing his latest spell in Senegal to an end.
The 29-year-old has moved to North Africa after spending the recent period of his career in the Senegalese league with Jaraaf.
Wade’s transfer to Al Taawon continues a career that has already taken him outside Senegal, including spells in Europe.
Before making the move to Libya, the defender played for FC Locomotive in Georgia and later joined Turkish side Ümraniyespor.
His latest transfer therefore represents another international chapter for the Senegalese player, who will now continue his career in the Libyan first division.
Al Taawon have brought in Wade to strengthen their squad, with the experienced Senegalese defender adding another overseas move to his professional career.
Wade spent his most recent spell with Jaraaf in Dakar before agreeing to leave the Senegalese club for the Libyan side.
