Burkina Faso centre-forward Abdoul Zoungrana has joined AC Arles after a spell without a club. The 27-year-old, who is 1.86m tall and plays predominantly through the middle of the attack, has signed for the French side following his departure from Prishtina e Re earlier this year.
Zoungrana had been unattached since January 2026, when he left Kosovo’s Prishtina e Re, and now resumes his career in France with AC Arles. The move gives the right-footed forward a fresh platform in European football after several seasons in the Kosovan game.
During his time in Kosovo, Zoungrana built up top-flight experience with Feronikeli 74 and Prishtina e Re, also featuring in the domestic cup. Across league and cup competitions in Kosovo’s Superliga and Kupa e Kosoves, he made 50 appearances, scoring six goals and providing four assists.
Before arriving in Europe, Zoungrana played in his homeland with US Ouagadougou, moving to KF 2 Korriku in 2021. He then switched to KF Flamurtari in 2022 and on to Feronikeli 74 in 2023, with each of those moves completed as free transfers.
Zoungrana’s arrival at AC Arles is a permanent move from unattached status and marks the latest step in a career that has taken him from Burkina Faso’s domestic league to a series of clubs in Kosovo and now to French football.
