Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca has confirmed that Erling Haaland and several team-mates were given three days off after the 2-1 defeat by Aston Villa.
Donnarumma, Dias, Anderson and Gvardiol were also among the players granted a short break by Maresca.
Manchester City host Brighton in the fourth round of the English League Cup on Wednesday, 28 October. The match is scheduled to kick off at 22:30 Moscow time.
