Manchester United are considering Germany manager Julian Nagelsmann as one of their leading candidates to replace Michael Carrick.
Nagelsmann’s appointment could become a possibility if Carrick is dismissed. Sky Sport Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg reports that the German is among the English club’s priority options.
Nagelsmann is currently available and would be able to begin work immediately.
The 38-year-old is also open to continuing his managerial career in the Premier League. RB Leipzig remain interested in Nagelsmann and could make an approach if Martin Demichelis leaves the club.
