Algerian-German midfielder Ibrahim Maza is the subject of a transfer rumour linking him with a move from Bayer Leverkusen to Paris St-Germain.
Maza, 20, has a €50m market value and is under contract with Leverkusen until 30 June 2030. No transfer fee or probability has been reported for a potential move to the Ligue 1 club.
The attacking midfielder has started all six of Leverkusen’s Bundesliga matches this season, recording two goals and two assists. He has also scored once in the Europa League and provided an assist in the DFB-Pokal.
Leverkusen signed Maza from Hertha BSC for €12m in July 2025. The Berlin-born player had developed through Hertha’s youth system before making the move to the Bundesliga club.
Maza’s current campaign has seen him involved in 25% of Leverkusen’s Bundesliga goals, while he has played 94% of the available league minutes. He also appeared in all four of Algeria’s World Cup matches listed this season.
The rumour places Maza among the players PSG may be monitoring, although there is no indication that a deal has been agreed or that negotiations have reached an advanced stage. His existing Leverkusen contract remains in place through the end of the 2029-30 season.
