Brighton have made one of the most prolific starts to a Premier League season, scoring 24 goals in their opening seven matches of the 2026/27 campaign.
Only three sides have scored more at the same stage in the competition’s history. Arsenal netted 24 goals in their first seven games in 2009/10, Manchester United also scored 24 in 2011/12, while Manchester City set the benchmark with 27 in 2019/20.
Brighton’s latest contribution to that tally came in a remarkable 5-0 win over Crystal Palace. The Seagulls produced an unexpectedly emphatic performance against their local rivals, scoring five unanswered goals against the Eagles.
The result lifted Brighton to third in the Premier League table.
They will face another major test in their next league match when they host Liverpool on Sunday, 25 October.
